Godin Stadium 59 RW Electric Guitar in Desert Green w/Softcase

Godin Stadium 59 RW Electric Guitar in Desert Green w/Softcase

Perfect condition this Review model from Guitarist Magazine August 2018 (9/10) is set up to review standard and comes at UK best price as open box stock.

The Godin Stadium 59 RW/MN in Desert Green is a modern take on a classic single cutaway vintage guitar design. This instrument is designed to provide the looks of a by-gone era, combined with a thoroughly modern playability and versatile tonality. At the vintage end of the spectrum, the Stadium 59 has a classic ashtray bridge for bright tone and vibrant sustain. The guitar also has a pearloid pickguard and Desert Green finish which enhances the vintage-vibe, along with a classic wood combination of a basswood body with a dark mahogany-looking maple neck.

"This is a classy guitar, no question. Nicely made with a considered, updated Telecaster-style design it piles on the sound options with expanded wiring and that extremely useful active circuit - the sort of thing you'd find on a Music Man for considerably more money. Very little not to like here, especially the price which includes a good gigbag. Plug one in as soon as you can. 9/10 Guitarist Choice" - GUITARIST MAGAZINE

At the modern end of the spectrum, the Stadium 59 features a sleek bolt-on neck joint and modern 12'' radius fingerboard providing a fast playability with easier top-fret access. Godin has also included its own spicy-sounding Cajun Single Coil alongside a Seymour Duncan '59 neck humbucker for a versatile range of tones with a slight bias towards medium-gain sounds; these pickups provide the potential to clean up or get more overdriven dependent on your amp settings and offer a nuanced tone that will respond to your playing dynamics. The Cajun single coil bridge pickup promises a fiery sound and will make the most of the basswood body and ashtray bridge. This single coil provides a biting sound that would be ideal for blues and rock tones, along with modern country sounds. The Seymour Duncan '59 humbucker in the neck has a low-medium gain output and creates a true warm humbucker sound but still allows the nuances of your playing to come through.

Godin has wired the Stadium 59 with a versatile 5-way switch for a versatile range of tones. The guitar also has the High Definition Revoicer circuit which delivers an instantly switchable bright sound. Stadium 59 also has a H.D.R. (High Definition Revoicer) circuit which can be switched on to access a brighter alternative tone. If you love the looks of classic guitars but can't do without modern playability and versatility, the Stadium 59 is the ideal instrument. Comes with an official Godin softcase.
